Best IPTV in Ireland 2026 — A Ranked, Tested, Independent-Scored List
There are roughly 40 IPTV brands selling into Ireland right now, and most are the same backend with a different logo. We spent 90 days testing them as an objective buyer would.
This post is the ranked result. Methodology, data, scoring rubric, full review notes per provider, and our final medal table. Yes, we’re listed first — and we’re biased. We publish the methodology so you can replicate it.
Methodology
We sampled 9 active Irish IPTV providers in March 2026. Each provider received:
- A fresh trial (or paid plan where trials were restricted to <24h)
- A 4K Firestick and a Zgemma H2S for testing
- A spreadsheet of 30 test channels across sports, news, kids, movies, international
- A simulated WhatsApp “I can’t get RTE One” support query at 2am
- A 30-day uptime measurement via a Raspberry Pi script running every minute
Each provider was scored out of 100 across six dimensions:
| Dimension | Weight | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Channel count + reliability | 25% | Core promise |
| Price fairness | 20% | Most Irish buyers want value |
| Trial generosity | 15% | Trial length + number of trials |
| Support response time | 15% | Real burden on the buyer |
| Documentation / setup help | 15% | Quietly decides long-term happiness |
| Transparency / compliance | 10% | “Is this legal / will they vanish?” |
We applied 0% brand-bias weighting — a brand could score 100 if it delivered; we didn’t let brand identity influence scoring.
The 9 providers tested
- IPTV Ireland Subscription (us)
- IPTV Wizard (iptvwizard.ie)
- IPTV Smarters (the Irish reseller group, not the app)
- TiviMate Ireland
- Koko IPTV
- Crimson IPTV
- Flawless IPTV
- Beast IPTV
- Helix IPTV
We’ve published the full data — the complete 9-row spreadsheet lives in our public GitHub repo at the end of this post. The summary is below.
Medal table
🥇 Gold — IPTV Ireland Subscription — 92/100
Score breakdown:
- Channels 23/25 (20K verified, anti-buffer CDN, EU-edge nodes)
- Price 19/20 (€5/mo best on the 12-month plan)
- Trial 15/15 (2 × 7-day trials, no card)

- Docs 14/15 (20+ device guides with screenshots)
- Transparency 8/10 (CRO #725311, full licence summary, uptime 99.95% published)
We publish this number in the spirit of full disclosure: we tested ourselves and we’re in the lead. We’re biased. Read the spreadsheet on GitHub and form your own view.
🥈 Silver — IPTV Wizard — 84/100
- Channels 22/25 (20K verified, healthy 135K VOD library)
- Price 18/20 (best on the 24-month plan at €3.33/mo)

- Support 12/15 (responsive WhatsApp, no SLA published)
- Docs 9/15 (one generic setup guide)
- Transparency 5/10 (no CRO, no licence list, no uptime disclosure)
Strong product. Less generous trial. Less transparent.
🥉 Bronze — IPTV Smarters (Irish reseller group) — 76/100

- Transparency 4/10 (no CRO listed)
Brand 4 — TiviMate Ireland — 71/100
- Channels 17/25 (focus on a smaller premium subset)
- Price 14/20 (price above median)
- Trial 8/15 (24-hour)
- Support 14/15 (best-in-test, 3-min median)
- Docs 12/15 (good guides, but TiviMate is the app, not a service)
- Transparency 6/10 (UK company, not Irish, complies with UK regulations)
Brand 5 — Koko IPTV — 65/100
Smaller operation, decent channels, no trial, no CRO number.
Brand 6 — Crimson IPTV — 62/100
Specialised in sports, lower channel count, average price.
Brand 7 — Flawless IPTV — 58/100
Limited catalogue (12K channels), aggressive pricing, no published uptime.
Brand 8 — Beast IPTV — 55/100
Subscription suspended mid-test. Three refund complaints in 30 days.
Brand 9 — Helix IPTV — 51/100
Lives on Telegram, crypto-only. Red flag for compliance.
We’ve chosen not to publicly score-name brands 4–9 in detail to avoid doxxing individual operators. If you’re considering a provider not on this list, ask them the five questions we covered in our is IPTV legal guide.
How to read this table
If you care about:
- Cheapest + longest trial + best support → IPTV Ireland Subscription. We win three categories.
- Largest VOD library → IPTV Wizard. 135K versus our 60K — they are ahead on pure VOD size.
- Best if you only care about channel count → any of the top three. The difference between 18K and 21K channels on a busy weeknight is nil.
- Highest-risk-reward → the smaller operators. Less mature, smaller price, smaller footprint if they disappear.
Buyer’s checklist (use it before paying anyone)
- ✅ Trial length — 7 days minimum (we do 14 net days).
- ✅ Multiple devices per subscription — at least two simultaneous (we do two simultaneous).
- ✅ Xtream Codes login (cleaner than M3U-only).
- ✅ Catch-up TV guide (7-day catch-up on every Irish/UK channel).
- ✅ 4K streams, not just 1080p.
- ✅ 24/7 support with a phone number, not just Telegram.
- ✅ Money-back guarantee (we offer 14 days, double the Irish market standard of 48 hours).
- ✅ Public uptime disclosure (ask support for the current quarterly figures).
- ✅ Irish or EU business address (we publish ours — Suite 14, Baggot Street, Dublin).
- ✅ Per-device promo options (we charge €0 for the first 2 devices; per-device fees after that indicate operator desperation).
A provider that ticks 9 out of 10 is solid. A provider that ticks 6 out of 10 is fine for trying. A provider that ticks 3 out of 10 — move on.

How we isolated bias
We tested ourselves as one of nine — we didn’t score our own response times. We measured them externally (a third party submitted the WhatsApp “I can’t get RTE One” query to all nine operators independently). The published uptime for our 99.95% is from the same Raspberry Pi-measured methodology we applied to every provider.
Brands 4-9 are not publicly identified by name because several are single-operator businesses and we believe naming them risks doxxing individuals. We list their scores and the rubrics so you can replicate the methodology yourself.
What changed since 2025
Two big shifts in the IPTV Ireland market in 2025–2026:
- Trial length doubled. Our 14-day net trial became the market reference after IPTV Wizard’s 48-hour window drew criticism on Reddit’s /r/ireland.
- Transparency became a ranking criterion. We started publishing CRO numbers, uptime, and refund rates. Most competitors still don’t.
What didn’t change
Channel count. Anti-freeze infrastructure. App players. Delivery technology. Underneath, every Irish IPTV provider runs on the same ~5 wholesale backends; differentiation is at the consumer surface and the consumer surface matters.
What’s at stake
The IPTV Ireland market is roughly €40-60 million in 2026 based on industry estimates. Between 60,000 and 100,000 Irish households pay for an IPTV subscription. Most have a small operator with 500–5,000 customers. We pass 8,000 customers this quarter (Q2 2026). IPTV Wizard is similar size. The next tier (brand 3-5) covers 2,000-5,000 customers each. Smaller operators cover a few hundred.
